~ A BONHAM'S BEAUTY ~

Sometimes when I surf the internet something catches my eye. This was the case with this wonderful portrait of an old man w/beard. It is attributed to the German School, sometime in the 1800's. It was painted in oil on canvas and the original is 18.5 x 15 inches. I love the expression on the man's face - we can almost tell what he's thinking. This painting is for sale at auction on October 21, 2008. The time of the sale is 13:00 (PST).
